Best DAC/Amp for Sennheiser 650 Headphones ?

 
 
DAC     - Asus Xonar Essence STX
Amp     - ?
Phones - Sennheiser HD650
 
 
Any idead ?
 
 
I'd like to enhence the sound stage.

Get rid (sell) of your DAC and get a NuForce HDP, which is a combined DAC/AMP. The DAC chip in the HDP is the same DAC chip NuForce uses in their $1100 DAC's. And the AMP of the HDP is pretty unbeatable at its price point.

I love how HD650 sounds with Little Dot mkIV. Smooth, relaxing but with good punch. I love it with heavy string music. However, maybe too smooth for some. I use Zero DAC moded with Earth discret opamp.

It was for the HD600 but after all these years this still remains my most lustworthy amp for the Sennheiser HD600/650.
