Sorry for the late reply mate, I have been super busy as of late.

I ended up grabbing the Magni 2 / Modi 2 Schiit stack. It is unbelievably good for my cans. The build quality through to sound reproduction and volume range is perfect for my setup.

I have tried the audioengine D1 does drive them well.

I'm really impressed with how these sound. Therefore, I recommend it. I've heard just as many good things about Mayflower Objective-2. If someone is interested in other options, I recommend reading the review on this topic

consider Audioengine D1. a Good option for Desktop. It plays an obviously better sound than the standard computer sound. The gain is enough for loud listening. It will definitely improve the drying of music/movies/games. The Beyerdynamic DT 990 works perfectly. Checked and tested
