Best closed headphones for under $100

The M50's have pretty decent isolation. They sound pretty good too!

I quite liked the Denon 1001 or their rebadged versions the Creatuve Aurvana Live headphones. If you want to tinker, the relactively simple markl mods can be done on these to tweak the sound a little.

The replies are the typical contenders, but what's best for you (and the second guy) will be based on what type of music you like to listen to.

Though im not generally a fan of closed headphones the SRH440 is a great option as it doesn't have the problems some cheaper closed headphones tend to have. Midrange sounds great and isn't recessed. Bass isn't overwhelming or boomy. They isolate well enough without clamping too much. Soundstage and separation aren't too bad either, though even something like the MS-1 will do better here.
