i listen to a lot of Dave Matthews Band, especially a lot of live DMB, so I'm looking for a good pair of headphones for live performances. I heard DMB sounds good on Sennheisers, but I wanted to see other people's suggestions. I also want closed headphones to reduce sound leakage.

I'll also be using these mostly with my iPhone so It needs to sound good without an amp.

For on the go use without an amp, I recommend the NAD VISO HP50, PSB M4U 1, Focal Spirit Pro or Sony MDR 7520.  These are listed in order from warm to dead neutral (I call it a tie in that regard between the FS and Sony).  However the last two are above your budget.  See:

For less than $200 you can also get the Senn Amperiors, if you are OK with on ear cans.

Thanks for the suggestions. I definitely am not ok with on ear. After doing some research, it looks like the NAD VISOs are comparable to Sennheiser Momentums which I think look a lot better. Ended up getting the Momentums. The only negative comments I've seen about them were ear cup size, and I think my ears are medium sized so I don't think that should be an issue.

The Momentums are very nice sounding headphones - I think they should do well with DMB. They are very smooth sounding with no obvious peaks to distract you from hearing the music as it should sound.
