I'm looking for something to listen to my music, game, and plug into my bass guitar amp. Long wear comfort is a big issue for me, and obviously sound. Can anyone point me in some directions? thx!

Sennheiser HD280s are seriously incredible (for gaming as well - it was the main reason I bought them originally). The only downside is that they mess up your hair.

Comfort-wise, you can have them on for hours at a time without them annoying you. The sound quality is excellent, and when you're playing games (for example, Quake 4 or Counter-Strike) it's easy to hear footsteps and other critical sounds.

Just my dollar sign zero point zero two.

Two suggestions that will likely be brought up are the rp21 and es7's. I personally own the es7, and enjoy using them for gaming. They're a fun and bright pair that have sparkling highs, great lows and pretty decent mids.

Yeah.. you'll get the RP-21s, which I have and love, the ES7s, and some Sennheisers. Might want to try this thread; it's the same thing.
