Budget: $300
Source: Schiit Magni 2
Isolation: Yes, I'll be using at home/ in dorm room
Type of Headphone: Full-sized
Tonal Balance: Balanced, with a little bit of bass
Past Headphones: ATH-M50
Types of Music: Everything but country and heavy metal.
Rock: Foo Fighters, Weezer, Pearl Jam
Hip-hop/Rap: Twenty One Pilots, Childish Gambino, Action Bronson
Misc. Music: Streetlight Manifesto, Pentatonics
Extra Notes: I've been mainly looking at Mad Dogs, but I don't have much experience with any other closed back cans that would be a really good upgrade from the M50's

This probably isn't what you're looking for, but you could still give Bose QC25 a try.

Not really looking for a noise cancelling pair of cans, just adds to the weight of them, but thank you!
Focal Spirit Professional. $349 retail, but lower used.

(I would comment on the Yamaha HPH-MT220, but I won't receive it until Wednesday.)

I definitely look up some reviews on these!
