Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post it in so please correct me if it isn't.

I'm looking for a pair of headphones that needs to be:

  1. Comfortable
  2. Able to be folded and put in a case
  3. Under $50
  4. Not ridiculous looking

I listen to alternative rock (Coldplay, One Republic etc.) but I also listen to Dubstep so the headphones need to have decent bass.

Thanks in advance,
Jaidyn

EDIT: The headphones I'm currently considering are:

  1. Sony XB500
  2. AKG K81
  3. Sennheiser HD 202

It's pretty hard to find a closed circumnaural headphone under $50 that is anything other than junk.  However, I have seen reviews of the Monoprice 8323 that say it is really not at all bad for $23 and better than a lot of more expensive headphones. I haven't heard them but I've been tempted to get them just because of the price.  From experience I can tell you that the Creative Aurvana Live! which is a bit more expensive is way way better than its price.  Neither of these is foldable.

I also like the Sony XB500 quite a bit.  The price is around $70 but I got mine for $40 and you can easily get refurbs for $40.  They are not a natural sounding headphone but they have great bass.  It isn't foldable either.

Ridiculous looking is in the eye of the beholder.
