I love my shure E4, but I hate walking with them. Hey if what you are listening is dance music it's not big deal you can even create you own beat with each of your steps but that doesn't apply when listening movements like Air from Bach's Orchestral Suite!

So is there a way to avoid this thump, thump, thump, thump thing?

Seriously, I dont think shoes would help much with the noise. I've yet to find a way to not hear it with the MD-33s.
