The JBL Creature III is within your budget, but I'm not quite sure whether they are available in you area. I know they are available from Amazon UK, though.

Harman Kardon Soundsticks III is near the price you are asking for and it is a very good 2.1 set

I'll take a look at the creature 3, the soundsticks are too expensive here.. I also saw these http://www.trust.com/press/pressreleases/pressrelease.aspx?id=1541 are they any good?
