I don't even know if I'll need a DAC... Should I just get a Modi? What about a Modi 2?

Also very curious what people recommend. I've heard someone really like the Pro-Ject Box S FL combined with the Crack for a warm buttery sound, but I personally haven't heard it.

I used the original Modi for a year and loved it. Modi 2 Uber looks to be an excellent value as well. Pair it with Schiit Wyrd if you use USB for even cleaner power. Very good value.

Schiit especially knows what they are doing with their DACs IMO.
