Best Bang for Buck CD Player with Balanced Output

Greetings....I've been out of the game for a while, but recently picked up an RSA SR71B on ebay for $480. I don't have any experience with balanced gear. I have a variety of amps, cans, iem's, etc. One of my scenarios is my trusty Senn HD 580's with clou red jaspis cable (I know...i'm showing my age) connected  to either my oppo player via rca interconnects or my vintage sony d25s (and an amp of course). This is obviously for desktop listening. I had Drew at moon audio build me a rsa xlr cable for the senn's, and a rca to mini for the d25s, and now would like to get a cd player with balanced out to take advantage of the other side of the sr71b. I'm thinking of getting the oppo bdp-95, but I'm wondering if there is anything else out there, perhaps an older player I can find used, that's less money/good quality "best bang for buck" with balanced outputs. Hoping to get some ideas..Thanks.

Bang for buck I usually suggest the Emotiva ERC-2, but the Oppo is the best bang for your buck in that price category. You get a ton more format choice there, too.

hey, thanks very much for your response...i think the emo is a winner. As much as I'd love the oppo, recabling my senns & getting an rsa to xlr has pushed the budget. I have another non-balanced oppo, 2 panasonic blurays, a rotel cd, a samsung bluray & 7 other portable cd players as additional sources, the emo fits the bill perfectly. Just ordered it....really looking forward to its arrival. You really nailed it with the recommendation. I had never heard of emotiva. Thanks again for your help!

Hope you like it. They have fantastic build quality and that player is hard to beat for the price.

I'm curious about the Emotiva ERC-2. How does it compare to the Oppo in terms of sound quality and resolution?

I haven't directly compared the 2, but I have heard both and can call them both very good buys in their price range.
