Hey all,
I thought this will be the best forum to ask.
I am looking for the best program to fetch artwork for songs and albums, on Windows OS.
I once used Amarok when I used Linux, it is one hell of a player isn't it ?
did it all automatically, took about 5 minutes to fetch 850 albums.

The thing is that I am looking for something automatic and fast , not as Tag&Rename for instance, which is very manual and takes a lot of time :/

It will be used for Cowon A2, so it needs to have to option to save the artwork into the Tag/Metadata, folder.jpg won't do it.

The Cowon A2 DOES support album art as a jpg in the same directory as the music files for the album. So you can use that technique. I believe it even understands a .jpg with the same name as a song in case you have a directory containing a mixture of music from different albums.

Amarok pulls my album covers, but they come in as png (maybe that's configurable).. I then run convert to make them into jpgs... takes a second or two.

If you have an Itunes account you can use it to retrieve artwork.

I did all of my collection manually over a long period though. That way I got decent quality images and could be sure they were the right ones.

i use i-tunes to retrieve the artwork it can all else i use google image search
and select highest image quality.

Tag and Rename is simply the best program for tagging files. It grabs artwork from Amazon.
