I just bought an NAD T747 and I'm thrilled with the sound. I was actually worried it wouldn't match up to my C352, but I think it's actually a little better, both with speakers and headphones.
I've got an Apple TV and I was wondering which output would sound best, digital or analog. There's an analog bypass mode if I connect the analog (RCA) output to the T747, so that has the benefit of not losing anything in the processing of the analog signal from the Apple TV. But, if I connect the digital output, either HDMI or optical, then the T747 should produce a better analog output, right? I would guess its DAC would be better.
Is there a definitive answer or is this subjective?
