For a BeyerDT800 (250 ohms), what would be the best headphone amps, for 200 euros?
(I prefer buying new, not second-hand.)
(I am in France, so prefer buying from Europe: shipping is less expensive, and customs are included.)
The headphone amp would be plugged on the RecOut output (I suppose) of my Cambridge 640Av2.

What about the Meier Arietta?
Would that be a good choice?

Best amps for BeyerDT800 and 200 euros. Okay pick me. I have never heard of a DT800 but a Little Dot or Meier amp should probably work. Now I want my 200 euros.

Hum... For that much information, I think I can send you a candy, if you give me your address

Well I guess you have the DT880.

Meier amps should have a beautiful synergy with Beyers. Tubes work great as well and the Little Dots are a good choice then. Read a bit into the differences between solid state and tubes.

Thanks! I'll probably go for the Meier Arietta, then.
Unless someone can convince me to go for tubes?

Any other opinions, folks?
