Since these are high impedance phones, I was wondering what sound card would drive the Sennheiser 580s well, w/out the use of an external amp (better than my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card).

I game, listen to music and occasionally watch movies.

I want a card that can basically do it all w/ the greatest amount of sound fidelity this side of not using external equipment to drive my Senn. 580 with aplomb!

bluegears b-Enspirer (same chip as Claro for a lot less?)

That is the 60K question.

To my knowledge there is not an internal sound card that gives even decent headphone sound and give you EAX, Dolby and all that business.

One thing for sure...If we keep asking...They will deliver.
