Would love to know what others think is the best Amp/Dac combination for use with the Alpha Prime Headphones.
 
I'm thinking $2000 range, slightly more or even less is fine. Music is mainly EDM, Rock, New Age.

Wish someone answered this question....I am in the same boat right now...leaning towards Schiit right now....either the Lyr 2/Bifrost Uber stack or the Mjolnir/Gungnir stack.   Trying to figure out whether I would rather go with tubes or balanced...that is the question.

A bit late to the question, but I've been using the Dangerous Source (about $1000) with my LCD-X's for about a year, and they're a remarkably good, neutral combination.  Not endgame-class good, but value is huge!  Also, they're super flexible for a desktop setup: USB in, 2 speaker outputs + 2 headphone outputs.  Very happy with it!
