I'm looking for the highest quality audio from a device that supports 30 pin line out. I have a portable amp so I'm only concerned about the DAC unit. Right now I'm using an iPod Touch 4G.
 
Any recommendations?

Why does it need to be 30 pin line out?
 
If you really just want 30 pin line out you are limited to the older ipods.
 
There are many different options out there for just standard 3.5mm line out, check out the Fiio line up for example.

Because I have invested about $150 in two separate 30 Pin to 3.5mm cables. One for car, one for headphones.
 
Please keep in mind I only listen to 320 bit rate MP3 files.
 
Why do you say older iPods? Would the Touch 6G with Lightning to 30 Pin be the best quality? Or what model(s) did you have in mind?
