Neighbor wants to keep the budget down but I don't want to stick him with the £5 DAC in his Airport Expresses if I can really make his sound better with £100 (or less) DACs.
He has music delivered to three different stations via ethernet, though for at least one, I may just stick with the analog output from the AE.
He keeps saying he doesn't care about sound, but I'd still like to give his ears a chance. His old B&O speakers (quite retro) in the living room are actually not bad. They are capable of a fair amount of detail.
