Hi to all,

is it possible to connect the DAC1 via XLR Digital input >Adapter to Cinch>1m 75 Ohm digital cinch cable>CD- Player digital Output?

I ask this question, because I don't know if there are any restrictions in doing this. The DAC1 XLR input is balanced and has a 110 Ohm input impedance. The digital cable has 75 Ohm. Will this go together?

Thanks

Martin

The DAC-1 has a 75 ohm digital input (S/PDIF) too -- can you not use this?

@ OracleGuy,

I know, but I need the coaxial input already for another device! So how about to use the XLR- input (with an adapter to cinch) for the CD- player? Is this possible with a 75 Ohm coax cable?

It will be alright if the cable is short enough (0.5 - 1m)
