Hi,
Sorry if I appear to be lazy but I was wondering if anyone had information or links that show the differences between the Benchmark DAC1 line up, if there are any, in the D/A conversion section.
What I mean by this is that: if I were to compare the DAC1s using a CD Transport via co-axial input => to fixed (calibrated) balanced out, would I hear any differences?
One thing that has confused me is the difference between the USB and PRE version other than extra digital/analogue inputs. My only guess is that they have added some better op-amps somewhere in the output stage.
