I would like to have your kind advices...
I own a Bel Canto CD2 and I wish to upgrade with a DAC of the same brand.
I am looking for a used DAC3 and a few days ago I called a store that sell them and talking about the matter with the seller he exposed me this theory: model 2 and model 3 are a sort of crossover between a more dedicated match with the player and a use with digital files, while 1.5 and 3.5 are better for use mainly with CDs.
It seems to me a little strange… I thought that it was only a matter of cost > quality (more or less)
Consider that I can not buy a new 3.5mkII (and more with its VB…) but only a new 1.5 or a used 3.
