hi all
your opinions needed on which would be a better investment.
I am not looking at selling the Dac later on .
From what I have read about the Bel Canto, other than the Zanden Dac there are not many other Dacs that can hold a light to it.
also I would prefer to use the DAC with my home theater as well.
so all opinions welcome.
also specifically which unit is a better DAC.

By most accounts, the Grace is a great headphone amp with a DAC slapped in, whereas the Bel Canto is a great DAC.

What about Benchmark DAC1? Unless I am mistaken, only output on Grace is headphone jack so it wouldn't be ideal solution for home theater systems.

I already gleaned the fact that the Grace is regarded as a very nice headphone amplifier.
what I wanted to know was how does the dac on it compare to the Bel Canto Dac2's performance.

stereophile also rated the MF X-Cans V3 as class A and that was definitely NOT Class A.
I am seeking someone who has had the oppurtunity to listen to both of these.
as in at the same time or at different times really doesn't matter.
all i want is a relative comparison.
hopefully someone has tried them both.
