No laughing here. That is one of my all-time favorite CD's. The Vince Guaraldi Trio is great!

Oh, man, Christmas music on Vinyl holds a special place in my heart. When I was growing up the only time the whole family listened to music all day was Christmastime, and it was always the best of Bing Crosby and White Christmas. I'm SO buying that Guaraldi.

I was thinking about trying vinyl, but I'm completely new to this stuff. So what would I need to buy exactly? I know a turntable, but whats this talk about phono stages and stuff? What's it for and is it necessary? Since I have no experience at all I guess I'll have to buy new right?
