Beginner audiophile set. Does this sound like a good combo?

The more I look at them the more I think they aren't that bad looking actually. I just read reviews of build quality that is sturdy yet 'feels' cheap and I really hate that feeling.

If that is the case, the RX700 isn't any better in that regard. They may look nice in pictures, but in hand, the plastic really does look and feel chintzy. My ATH-T400s are  superior in quality and feel of the build, but may not be quite as durable. They are $55 right now, but frequently drop to $51. I feel the sound is also a bit better than the RX700 so they may be worth a look.

Those look very nice.

I might have to drop my budget to $40ish so I found these Superlux 681 which I heard are similar to the 668b http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002GHIPYI/ref=s9_simh_gw_p23_d0_g23_i6?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=19FHBS9G2XDJRDVKMDAA&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938811&pf_rd_i=507846

I also found these Superlux 661s.

EDIT: I think I will get the CAD Audio MH13 which are closed versions of the SR668b's which I read are basically Sampson SR850's with a different design. they are also $10 cheaper and look nice in my opinion :)

I'm still not sure because the clamping force is apparently pretty high and I have a wide head so this is an issue
