I want a new pair of in-ear headphones to use at coffee shops or commuting.  They will not be amped.  I want to plug into my laptop, iPod or iPhone and forget about them.  
 
At Canjam in Denver I very much liked the Westone 4, but I'm worried that I could loose them and that's a chunk of change to throw away.  I recently lost a pair of HiFiMAN Ri-0s, but I can't seem to loose any of the apple headphones I've accumulated.
 
I'd love suggestions from the group.  Thanks in advance.

Every time you take them out of your ears make sure they go into their case and into your bag or pocket immediately. Never leave it laying around.
