Hello all,
I currently own a pair of Shrue SRH840 headphones with a broken right driver-connector-plastic-hinge-thingamabob (I don't know the proper term. DON'T JUDGE ME! xD). However, the drivers still work just fine. Looking up a replacement headband/enclosure, I came across Headfi's favorite target, the Beats Studios.
Could the Shure SRH840 drivers (40mm, oval shaped) fit into a set of Beats Studios (with a 40mm, oval shaped driver)? If so, what would I need to do to get this done? I'm a total noob to DIY, and I have no idea where to begin.
PS: Before anyone gets upset that I'm contemplating buying a set of Beats, let's just say that I'm buying headphones from a "different brand" that are "extremely similar"
