I am looking for good headphones for mainly hip hop, dubstep, rock, pop. I have C. $200 and i was looking at beats solo, beats studio, sennheiser HD25-1 II, and monster npulse; which of these would be best? New suggestions welcome.

I don't know anything about the monster npulse but I would not even consider the beats headphones you mention. They sound absolutely horrible. Have you ever listened to them? The Sennheisers are very good at the price.
