Hey, one thing I can't find is, what is the proper term to search here for the cable that connects to the bottom of the ipod to the amp? I don't want to use the headphone jack when the PA2V2 arrives next week. I wanted to learn more about this cable and see many users with fancy ones to plain ones.

Line-out dock, that's the phrase you're looking for. I've got both - a plain one, and a fancy one.

Not really - you either buy online or make your own, or have someone make one for you.

Or you can buy one off a local Head-fier.

Depends on what you term "hand-me-downs," I'd guess. Usually some members off-load their gear at the meet because they're too lazy to post on the FS forum - mayhaps we will have this happen too.
