Hi all,
I'm looking for an excellent battery-powered tube amp in the $1000 range (used) to complement a 5.5G iMod and my AT W1000 headphones. I'm currently using a Yamamoto HA-01, which I love, but I'm moving to South Asia and getting a good step-down transformer half way across the world is going to be difficult and expensive. I want to be off the grid as much as possible, as power is really crappy and unpredictable where I'll be. I don't want to blow up my Yammy. Obviously this means I'd be looking for an amp with a 110-220V outboard power supply, or at least with the option of buying one after market.
Any suggestions? Does such a thing exist?
Many thanks in advance.
