Hello all;

This question will make you engineering types cringe, but here goes.

I have a few extra battery packs for my cosmic. I wonder if I can store batteries in them for convenience (like a clip on pistol), or will they discharge coupled up like that?

thanks all

Mackay maus

PS Great hockey game huh? Lost ten bucks but it was worth it.

If I get your question right, You have spare packs that will fit into the amp and your question is if you carry spare batteries with you, allready waiting in the spare packs, will the batteries discharge because they are in the pack connected "end to end" so to speak. The answer would be - no the batteries will not discharge any faster then they would sitting all by themselves, individually. There must be a completed circuit for them to start to discharge, and the amplifier is the part missing from the circuit when the batteries are not in the amp. Batteries will slowly lose charge, all by themselves, due to small internal current leakage inside the batteries, however it is a slow process.
