Howdee all-I just ordered a XIN Supermacro IV and I'm guesiing it does not come with batteries. It takes 8-AAA's what brand of rechargeables do you reccommend? and are Eveready recargeables o.k.?

Get yourself rechargeable batteries! Loading the amp with 8 batteries - once is enough. The internal charger works great. It blinks and changes color while charging - Very Cool!

I bought some batteries at all-battery.com. Twelve AAA (900 mAh) Ni-NH batteries for $10.99 is not bad.

I would be more concerned with the mAh (milli Amp) rating than the particular brand of battery. A rating of around 900 is good. I would also make sure all batteries are in similar condition and rating.

Yes eveready are fine with the Supermacro, and no need to buy a charger. Dr. Xin sends one with his amp. Good luck and enjoy it.
