I'm sure everyone else in the world has seen this movie except me. I just watched it tonight. Damn! This is what Batman was meant to be. Awesome!

It was alright. Although I considered the scarecrow really uh . . . stupid. The one in the cartoons seemed a bit cooler.

I saw it in theaters a few months ago and this was one of the problems I had with the movie too. It just didn't give him enough screen time and character development, more focused on Bruce Wayne and... (can't remember other villians name

).

Definately the best of the Batman movies thus far.

Saw this recently and thought it was great. The first half of how Christian Bale became Batman was excellent. The special effects were pretty good too!
As others have said, this is the best Batman to date.

I saw it with a friend the day it came out (first showing at midnight) at an IMAX theatre. It was an incredible movie. My friend is a huge batman fan and said that it was well done and very pleased at the fact Christian Bale got the role of Batman.

A week or so after I saw it, my friend showed me a picture some member at a forum whipped up of what the new Joker would like like in this seemingly darker scope of Batman. The character looked awesome, but the person used to model it was an actor who had already passed. I'll try and see if I can dig it up or if he might still have the image. All I can say is that now I'm going to be watching any further Batman movies the day it comes out - it was sure worth it.

As for watching Batman Begins on IMAX, it was... insane. D:

That reminds me. It was very interesting seeing Liam Neeson playing his first baddie role and Gary Oldman playing a goodie. It didn't seem right.

True; best Batman film to date.

I really like Christian Bale (American Psycho is a great film!) and Gary Oldman (pretty much everything he's been in has been great!).

The film actually scared me a little... I'm not so good with "horror" films and this was on the dark and scary side for me. (don't call me a wuss, I just don't like being scared!).

I still think Prince should have done the soundtrack

As a superhero movie, I didn't like it nearly as much as Spiderman 2 (which IMO is the best film of that genre since the first "Superman."
