I like my K518, but the pads aren't good for long listenings.

I need it to be HEADphones, no clip ons, IEMs or whatever.
I love bass but i hate muddy phones (K414).
It has to be circumaural.
It should not be big, the K518 is big enough, maybe a slight bigger, but not too much.
I listen to rock and hiphop, but for the new phones mostly hiphop.
It doesnt have to be a big difference from the K518 but it should be noticeably better.
It has to be closed and isolated.
It needs to be comfortable enough to be used for 3 days straight (thats no a metaphor, i do that)

$100 is already over my limit so dont tell me to strectch it

and again, only HEADPhones no IEMs or whatever

unless you guys can tell me how i can mod my K518 to be bassier and circum, that'd be great.

S-Jays. I have the K518, the HD25 and the S-Jays and love them all equally for their purposes

Sorry, responded before properly reading the question, my bad.
But the D1001 is a very good choice! I got mine for €60 (rebranded as the Creative Live! Aurvana), which was about $80 something at that time.
It's bigger, is way easier on your ears than the K518 and pumps some serious deep bass. It's also got a way better soundstage than the K518

Though the D1001 will get a bit muddy on big, complicated bass pieces, it's still an amazing 'phone for it's price.
The cups are a bit bigger than the AKG's, but by any means portable. Oh and it's wearable for like 3 hours straight without problems, can't say the same about my AKG K81DJ/K518's.
You won't be disappointed!

I've read that the D1001 have the same sound as the Crative aurvana.
If so which is better?

There is no difference between them soundwise since they both use the same driver and chamber. It's just another look.
So it's up to you if you want the matte black of the Denon or the chrome/glossy black of the Creative.

D1001 can be got for under 100. Beyer 770 Pro can be as well, and those are bass monsters.

If you mean your first post, you keep the DT770 on your to-buy list since it really isn't portable at all.
