Im looking for an iem equivalent of the ha sz2000 headphones...

Like rumbly, nasty sub bass all the way to 20 hz.

Is this even possible with iems?

Looking through the headphone buying guide, there are plenty of bassy iems that id like to commit to, but all of them have early failure issues.

These are ridiculously bassy but still have fairly good SQ otherwise: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDRXB50AP-Extra-Earbud-Headset/dp/B00JRD13T8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1422650761&sr=8-1&keywords=sony+mdrxb50ap

They go down to 4 Hz and you really, really, really feel it.

Can also get open box ones on ebay for 50% off: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sony-MDRXB50AP-Extra-Bass-Earbud-Headset-Black-Open-Box-1-each-/251754387850?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a9dbb198a

What's your budget? Just had some Sony XBA-H3's and they were THUMPIN!

The Carbo Tenores are very bass heavy as well for their price (~$40).

Good luck with other answers though...I swear people don't talk outside these massive specific threads though. I think like 90% of my questions go unanswered haha! Such a helpful community!

Haha thanks for the response!

Budget up to 550... I was thinking about the customart music two and just eqing for when I want more bass?

But I dont really care if its 40 bucks, as long as it makes me smile, cry and/or bob my head!

You know what man? For being $40 the Tenores are pretty freakin sweet. Not super analytical or anything like that but you want bass? They got bass. If you have $550 have a look at the XBA-A3. Import only but they're like the H3's with just better mids and highs. Sound pretty perfect to me. That bass...slamming. And not "slamming" as most people think of slamming (which is always never up to my standards).

But yeah, get the Tenores first and see what you think. If you don't like them it's no big loss but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised...great wise sound stage as well!
