Hello. After several years I've decided to play bass again but I can't do much noise so 15" cabinets are a no go. I'll be using headphones instead. To drive the headphone I'll be using a Focusrite audio interface... yes, I know! ...but this is only for playing purposes not for actual listening. I will be sending to the headphones the bass 's track plus the music I'll be practicing with.

I'm looking for some basshead headphones with a punchy, tight and clear bass and nice sub bass but ok enough mediums and highs. Even for practicing I don't like muddy sounding music. Also nice separation and soundstage. My budget would be around $300 if that's possible.

So, after some research, I think possible options within budget could be:

Beyerdynamics DT770
Sennheiser HD6XX
Phillips Fidelio X3
AKG K371

What do you guys think? Any other recommendation that you could think of?

PS: Please don't mention Beats 🤣

I'd go with a modified Fostex T50RP, like the Dekoni Blue:

I'd also look into the Takstar Pro 82:

As much as I love my Sennheiser 6XX, they're not "basshead" headphones in any way shape or form. In fact, I got the Pro 82s and the Dekoni Blue to give me extra bass when I want a more "fun" headphone. I'm definitely enjoying the hell out of the Dekonis right now.
