I just picked up a pair of AKG K240 MkII headphones for playing bass guitar through. I tried plugging them into my practice combo amp's headphone out jack, and I guess that doesn't push enough power. I ultimately would like to have something that I could take with me and plug both my bass guitar and Ipod into, and send the sound to my K240's. I know next to nothing about headphone amps, but I think that's what I need.

I would prefer to not spend a fortune on a headphone amp. Under $200 preferrably. Is there such a thing out there?

I own a QED 45 headphone amplifier. It produces 2 volts, which I would think would be plenty of juice to drive AKG k420s, even my 600 ohm versions.
