Any reason why in AMB's gallery, none of the completed M3's seem to have a switch to activate the bass boost?

Are people simply linking the switch pads on the PCB to activate bass boost all the time?

the Sbb pads need to be open (not shorted) for bb to be on. People are just using the pot to turn it on and off as at the lowest position on the pot the bass boost is disabled
