Hello, just got my hd650's in, and they sound pretty good, just a little harsh up top and lackluster and slow in the bass, nothing a couple hundred hours of break cant fix.

I have it hooked up to a receiver right now that has a equalizer on it, and i have a track with a deep bass line on repeat. Do you think its okay for me to have the bass boosted on the equalizer, to really get the drivers going? Or should i just return it to 0db for fear of literally busting the drivers out? Right now it is only at a normal listening volume, and the sound is not distorting or crackling with the boosted bass on the equalizer, just wanted to know if anyone out there has any thing to advise on this matter that hasnt already been posted on the burn-in faq by Zanth, or discourage me from doing this.

I burned in my hd650s with the bass boost always on my PPA with no problems. You said there is no distortion so I wouldn't sweat it too much.
