I shortlisted UE500 and UE600 for me. I like both Rap (Eminem) and classical rock(Led Zepp, Nirvana). Now after reading tons of reviews, I am unable to decide between these two.

I would like clear guitar riffs which is clearly better in UE600 but I am worried to miss beats in Rap songs. So I just want opinion that are the highs in UE500 or Bass in UE600 that bad? Which one will be a better trade-off. From what I read that bass is extremely low in UE600 but UE500 still manages to do well in highs. Should I go for UE500?

I am also worried about cable durability on UE500, I broke my she3590 and soundmagic es-18 recently. How is the build quality of UE500 compared to these two?

Hi there.

No, you're not doing anything wrong, more than likely no-one with an answer has come across your thread yet. I suggest taking your question and ask ijokerl who has heard UE600, I don't know if he has heard UE500 though. If anything he will give you an idea and possibly a better option what to choose for your preferences and genres.

Ask in this thread and allow some time for a reply, be specific what you want to know and what you're looking for.
