My old Sansa Fuze got stolen out my car so I'm now Looking for a simple DAP.

Must have:
  • Support for a at least a 512gb MicroSD card.
  • MP3 & FLACC playback
  • A decent audio library OS/player
Use case:
  • Music, mostly metal through IEMs (still need to buy some). Sometimes, into my car Aux input.
  • I do have an old FiiO K11 amp I might use with it,
  • I'm comfortable with flashing Rockbox onto it if that's still a thing?
Budget:
  • Ideally won't cost a fortune. Hopefully less than £100, but I'll pay more if I have to.

Any ideas? Thanks :)

Fiio M11 (not pro) if you can find one used for a reasonable price. dual microSD card slots, theoretically supports up to 4tb via 2x2tb cards. I love mine.

EDIT - Sorry, I didn't see the 100 pound limit.

Maybe look at getting an ipod classic and modding it - replace HDD with multi microSD board, bigger battery, and rockbox it. Check out this bloke for ideas -

Very Cool!

Thanks, those are two good options. Ripping apart an iPod sounds fun, I'll try that first.

Let me know how it goes, it's something I've wanted to do for years
