just curious, anyone have an opinion of Barenboim's Mozart Requiem? I have it on Angel S-36842:

Sheila Armstrong - soprano
Janet Baker - mezzo-soprano
Niccolai Gedda - tenor
Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau - baritone
John Alldis Choir - John Alldis
English Chamber Orchestra - Daniel Barenboim

I'm not a huge Barenboim fan (definitely not as a soloist), but this one is growing on me. Any comparisons to other performances, etc.?

I can't imagine why he would break precedent

, although I'm sure Fischer-Dieskau does a good job.
