Hey guys, I must say i LOVE this site, must have clocked up nearly 8hrs a day over the past week on here. its just so good!
To the point: New laptop soon, along the levels of a HP DV6-3032TX 15.6"
Would like a new sound system to go with it. Don't flame me but i have a budget set up with a RCA/headphone jack hooked up to my $250 AWA stereo. It has good sound but i think its the connectors that let it down. ~$2 cable.
I would like a new sound system and am willing to be lenient with the budget but cant really go over $300AUS.
Could you gals and guys please give me some recommendations? perhaps still using my speakers (they do have good sound, but i would like a sub).
It would be for music only, I have a pair of HD215s on the way and a fiio E5 (went budget and probably shouldn't have, I'm hooked into this stuff now). My music taste varies from indie to some Australian hip hop, so bass would be good and decent for acoustics. Doesn't have to be an extreme system, just well balanced.
