HI,

I am wondering why the system seems to keep private messages even after you delete them.
Check your "trash." There's no way to empty it.
This seems odd. Am I missing something?
First, that's a huge burden on the system's servers. Over time that's a ton of data to store forever. That costs money and potential IT issues.
Second, it's kind of weird to have the history of all your PMs stored "out there" permanently. [I might misspell something and everyone will know about it long after I'm gone. Or, I might have written, "cd is the best sound quality forever" and be mocked inperpetuity after discovering vinyl.]
Third, it's environmentally unsound and the Green Digital Party will no doubt lobby for recycling used PMs.
Maybe we could just turn them into encoded jabberwocky and "set them free."

Might anyone chime in about this, please?

Thank you.

PS I hope the mods are okay with this. I'm just having fun as I wake up, but I do think this is a valid question.
