its a good album. not as good as the first, just a tad sunnier/folkier. still well worth your pesos.

I've been listening to this album non-stop since I bought it last week. "No One's Gonna Love You" was featured on the TV show "Chuck" a few weeks ago and I recognized the band's sound right away (I've heard "Is There A Ghost" on the local college alt-folk station for awhile now). I agree w/the comparisons to My Morning Jacket and wonder if people will ever raise their music standards and realize bands like BOH & MMJ & Wilco & Bright Eyes are real country bands and stop listening to the pop-fluff that passes for country these days. Prob not!

great band, theres another band called horse the band.. they are on the opposite side of the genre haha.. crazy hardcore music with synths.

I have listened to both bands, and while I enjoy metal and synth...HORSE the band just isn't for me...

Yet, Band of Horses is still not my cup of tea...

Anything else with bands and horses? Perhaps in a progressive rock style?
