Not sure where to post this so thought I would try here....

I have just bought an ALO Rx Mk3-B amp and an original CLAS Solo DAC which will be used with an iPhone 4S and a 160Gb classic iPod.

My question is........If I am running Single ended inputs into the Rx would I actually gain any benefit from running Balanced headphones out of the Rx? Would balanced headphones sound any better than a 3.5mm jack connection?

Eventually I want to upgrade to a Solo -DB and run a completely balanced rig, but in the meantime I have to make do with this.

I'm running an RSA protector and balanced does sound better then SE.

like everything you'll gain some benefit from running SE to Balanced. You'll get an even bigger improvement running balanced to balanced
