Balanced DAC with Optical or S/PDIF in for under $300. What are my options?

I'm looking for a DAC with balanced outputs and either optical or S/PDIF inputs. It also has to have volume control built in. What are my options under $300? I already know about the Little Dot DAC_1, and the Matrix Mini-I. Everything else that I have seen costs over $700 or is not made anymore.
