Hi,

Does anyone know if the 6N8Ps on the Bada Ph 12 can be replaced by CV181Zs? I am interested in trying this combination, but cannot get any direction from an amp seller if this swap would work.

You could try asking Pacific Valve and Electric this question, but I think it's risky. The CV181 draws 50% more heater current than a 6SN7. The Bada had three of these, and this would tax the transformer a good bit. Unless someone authoritatively tells you it is OK, I'd pass.
