Hi all,
Been scanning the forums for quite a while now, done a fair bit of research and reading. What a great bunch of peeps we have here, so first of all hi everyone
I just got back to the UK from HK this morning, to my surprise was a parcel with my new pair of Alessandro MS1. Currently running them in and already pretty damn impressed since I was using a pair of Philips SBC HP840 before.
I was only in HK for 1 day so didnt get much time to go demo any gear.
Would like a couple of pointers/opinions on what I should spend my money on.
Current setup,
PC(onboard nforce2)>optical>Yamaha RX-V640RDS>MS1
option1 - Buy Zero DAC/headphone amp
option2 - Buy Keces131 and LDMKIII
Main question I want to ask is am I going to notice a massive improvement on sound quality if I go with either the options above. Does a specialised dedicated headphone amp and DAC really bring out the full potential of my new cans?
