The Christmas season is coming and I have always been wanting to buy an IEM that has good quality sound.
I need help choosing a perfect IEM for me, but with the vast market and changing prices, it is very difficult to
find the perfect IEM. I've been looking up reviews, streaming shopping sites, and i looked at the major IEM threads on Headfi.
So here is my criteria that i hope you guys can give me recommendations with:
- no more than $200! If it is worth it I may add at most 30 dollars more
-universal IEM (obviously)
-Good to great comfort (They will be used for long periods of time)
-Good Microphonics
- a good helping of soundstage and instrument separation (for an IEM)
-bass is present, impactful, and tight but NO BLEED into the mids
-prominent mids that are lush and smooth
-highs with clarity and good extension
Style and brands aren't a big deal for me, but I will need a form factor that works for the wire to go over the ear.
I will be using a fiio e11 (most likely) or some other mid range amp (yet to be decided)
I listen to classic rock, alternative, house electronic, dubstep, and classical. (a little rap)
Some IEM's I have been looking at include:
TDK BA-200 ~$150 on amazon
Westone 3~ $180 on amazon
Earsonics sm2 v2~ 180 on amazon
Hifiman RE400~ $100 on most sites
Vsonic GR07 MK2~ $180 on amazon
Vsonic GR07 bass edition~ $180 on amazon
Shure SE 215~ $100 on amazon
Vsonic VC1000~ $160 on amazon
Please leave recommendations with website to them below -->
THANK YOU FOR THE HELP
