I am curious as to how the ground channel of the B22 is wired.  Does the ground return of the headphone jack go to the input or output?  If the output, what stops an unbalanced source from being used to a 4 pin xlr jack?  Couldn't the 4 boards be split to +L, L ground, +R, R ground?  And still retain 4 board use for balanced sources... +L, -L, +R, -R.  Of course if the ground return of single ended jacks goes to the input... nevermind

If you look at AMB's page for the B22 there is a section on wiring and grounds.  Also, the other options page has kinds of multi-board options and how they work.

Hope this helps.

Its does but its shall we say content light.  Active ground boards wire the output to the ground return, check, but then it goes on about populating for ground board and such.  Its not the end of the world, it would just be nice to be able to use a single ended source at some point without getting an actual 1/4" installed

But it works as a preamp single ended so... no idea :p
